Notes for Alma Hedwig Richter
Alma had a large house in Hondo, and the first refrigerator in the famliy -- a source of wonder to her nieces and nephews. She had a beautiful garden which often won local awards, and was a member of the Garden Club. Some of the Nesters' children suffered from heart problems. One son died at the age of 2, and another at age 23.
