Notes for Henry Schweers |
"Hinrich" in AO Sippenbuch. He emigrated to Texas with his family in 1854.
Henry is said to have swum out to the departing ship of his family while it was at anchor one mile from shore, and stowed away. Two days out to sea, the captain found him, and was persuaded to take him along to America. |
