| Notes for Ed Wiederanders | | Edward was confirmed March 26, 1899, in Grand Island, Nebraska. After his marriage, he and Rose lived with his parents in Oelwein, Iowa. HIs father had deeded him the family home in 1909, but Edward had to carry the mortgage. After his parents moved away permanently, he sold the house in 1914. He and Rose moved to California, where he continued to do carpentry work, even after his retirement. His hobby was creating intricate inlaid designs from natural wood on the tables and trays he crafted. | |
